“What kind of craziness is this? How dare you utter such evil rhetoric! If you weren’t so strikingly handsome, I would invite you to meet at dawn with pistols drawn!” That’s what you were probably thinking when you read this headline, right?

But despite our PC world in which Christian bakers must bake a cake for a same-sex wedding, the freedom of association (and the right to not associate with another based on whatever criteria you wish – even race or religion) is a cornerstone of a free society. Does that mean we think a business owner who is racist should deny service to a black or Hispanic customer?
